Why do we have wars? Where are the seeds planted? Each time you act to attain selfish gains at the expense of another, you are not just sowing the seeds but watering them. Each time it becomes all about “you” and you develop a “screw it, I am gonna do what I want no matter if it impacts others negatively” attitude, each time you allow yourself to engage in consciously hurting others, you fertilize the seeds of war in the collective consciousness. Anything that lacks love for all, for the greater good is not love.
War is not love. We worry about the large battles and forget we are sowing the seeds in our own lives, with our own actions. When one asks, “what would love do?” It might be a good idea to recognize real love is without agenda; it’s not about personal gain or chasing after money, power, attention, experience, romance or fame…it’s about something more pure…
Perhaps the world would be a better place if we not only listened to wisdom of the Avatars, but actually practiced it right now. It is challenging to stay positive and filled with light sometimes…but if we don’t, we reap darkness planted by seemingly small, inconsequential, acts of defiance and selfishness that seem to blanket our world. It’s not just one person acting this way but hundreds and thousands. Gives a whole new meaning to Army of Darkness.
And take note. I am not speaking of others challenging our patience nor am I speaking about our human ability to get angry when we are pushed too far by others. I am talking about conscious acts here. Consciously and selfishly hurting others because our own agenda is more important. It effects everyone. It impacts the entire world: it’s the ripple effect.
We don’t have to condone acts of non-love: we have to counter-act them. How do we do that? We must learn what real love is and what it is not. Real love does not cause pain to anyone or anything…only fear “and darkness can do that”. In order to sow seeds of love, we need to be able to truthfully acknowledge there is a difference between seeds that are love seeds and seeds that are not. We then have to discard the seeds that are not love instead of convincing ourselves “it’s just a little bit of bad seed, how much harm can it bring?” Or, “well, if others get hurt because of my actions, that’s their problem…I’m happy and that’s all that matters.”
What is happening in our world is sad. It is unnecessary. And it isn’t just happening “out there.” It might just be happening in your own heart????, our own life. It’s time to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves (thanks, Ice Cube). It’s time we become conscious and accountable. It’s time for us to be true leaders of light and not just be masquerading as such. It’s time for us to be sowers of love.
The result of planting love? It’s a much prettier world garden.
